What this chapter covers

This chapter covers clocks and watches, their movements and their parts, cases and straps. It runs from wrist, pocket and other watches to wall and table clocks, time recorders, complete or rough movements, cases, and watch bands. For this chapter a "watch movement" means a regulated mechanism (balance wheel, spring, quartz crystal or similar) no more than 12 mm thick and no more than 50 mm in width, length or diameter. Movements and parts usable both in timepieces and in other goods such as regulating instruments also stay here.

• Wrist-watches, pocket-watches and stop-watches; those with precious metal cases in 91.01, all others in 91.02
• Clocks with watch movements, alarm clocks and other clocks (91.03, 91.05)
• Time of day recorders and time-interval measuring apparatus with clock, watch movement or synchronous motor (91.06)
• Complete and assembled watch and clock movements (91.08, 91.09)
• Unassembled or partly assembled movement sets, incomplete assembled movements and rough movements (91.10)
• Watch cases, clock cases and similar cases for goods of this chapter, and their parts (91.11, 91.12)

1. Aşağıda yazılı olanlar bu fasıla dahil değildir:

(b) Saat zincirleri (duruma göre 71.13 veya 71.17 pozisyonları);

2. 91.01 pozisyonuna sadece, tamamen kıymetli metallerden veya kıymetli metallerle kaplama
